A look at 2025

W Editions launched this year with Sewing Kit, the inaugural edition made in collaboration with Natalie Lerner. In Sewing Kit, a spiral of threads entangled with sewing notions and marbles swirl around a broken clock and a bruised apple, evoking the Three Fates akin to the memento mori used by philosophers, artists, and writers since antiquity.

Natalie’s work is poetic. She pieces together fragments from the physical world to compose images that conjure the complexities of human emotion. Her drawings are often rendered on a foggy ground reminiscent of the unknown depths of a forest in a horror film. Themes like longing, self-reflection, and kinship often haunt familiar small domestic objects in her work.

What’s next?

I started W Editions this year to spend my free time working with artists to create and publish unique limited edition prints. The editions we publish have the opportunity to add value to young or established collections in tandem with the development and growth of the artists we work with.
